When given the option to live anywhere, West Michigan is unbeatable!  I was born and spent my early years in the mountains of Colorado, then a few years by the Gulf in Florida, then came to Grand Rapids for a few years, and then spent the remaining years in the Chicagoland area.  I came back to West Michigan for college in 1991, met my wife here, and a year after graduation from Calvin College with a BA in Business Management and Marketing, we got married.  We could have started anywhere, but after seeing it all, we decided this area was the best location in the country for us to live and raise a family.   The prices here are among the most affordable in the country, and yet there there are no threats of avalanches, tornados, earthquakes, hurricanes or smog.  There is nothing like being able to work all day and within 30 minutes either be in a big city having dinner or swimming and watching the sunset on a sandy beach on Lake Michigan. 

Like most people, after a few years of renting while paying off college debt, we decided it was time to buy our own home.  Thinking this would be a quick process, I started asking people I respected who they wholeheartedly recommended as an agent that was knowledgeable and yet trustworthy, and was were shocked to find that almost nobody could recommend anyone! 

This left me frustrated at the time, but seeing a clear need in this area, I decided to get into the business.  With an eye for detail and an intimate knowledge of the market, I work quickly to help clients identify potential issues with houses they are interested in purchasing, which makes deciding on the right home a lot more streamlined.  At the same time, I help sellers achieve top dollar for their homes by marketing their homes properly.  The results have been breathtaking...with over 1000 satisfied clients since 1999!

My wife Sally and now have 4 wonderful children and this year we celebrated our 15th anniversary...praise the Lord! 

My goals in life are simple.  To serve God by serving those He puts in my life, and to treat those that I come in contact with as I would want to be treated.

My work ethic is simple...Get the job done!
